Castillo de Gibralfaro
A 14th-century castle on the hill above the city, with views across the Mediterranean, the bullring, and the port. One of the most extraordinary ceremony settings in southern Spain.
A Moorish castle above the bay, a Cathedral in the old town, a waterfront that glows at sunset. Málaga is our home - and we know exactly how to photograph it.
Most wedding photographers are based somewhere and travel to their locations. We're different - Málaga is where we live, where we shoot every week, and where our visual eye was formed. We know how the light falls on the Alcazaba walls at four in the afternoon. We know which corner of the old town catches the last warmth before sunset. We know this city the way you can only know a place you call home.
That intimacy shows in the work. When you hire us for a Málaga wedding, you're not getting a team reading a map - you're getting people who know exactly where to stand, when to move, and how to find the frame that makes this city extraordinary in every photograph.
Most couples book combined wedding photography and a cinematic wedding film together. The combination gives you two complete records of the day - the still image and the moving one - made by the same eye, in the same light.
From the castle above the city to the rooftops of the old town - here are the Málaga venues we work with most.
A 14th-century castle on the hill above the city, with views across the Mediterranean, the bullring, and the port. One of the most extraordinary ceremony settings in southern Spain.
The parador sits beside the castle walls with unobstructed panoramas of the bay. Ceremony terraces at altitude - the city laid out below, the sea beyond.
In the heart of the old town, steps from the Cathedral. Rooftop terrace ceremonies with the Cathedral towers as the backdrop - genuinely striking in golden hour.
A beautifully restored estate on the outskirts, with olive groves, covered terraces and a calm, private atmosphere that larger venues can't replicate.
One of Málaga's most established wedding venues - generous spaces, experienced staff, and a setting that photographs well across every hour of the day.
Málaga's historic centre has a growing collection of intimate rooftop and terrace venues. The Cathedral, the Alcazaba, the port - all within reach as backdrop elements.
Málaga is an exceptional wedding destination that often surprises couples who know it mainly as an airport city. The Moorish castle, the Cathedral, the old town textures, the waterfront and the surrounding countryside all offer genuinely extraordinary settings. The city has been investing heavily in its cultural offer, and the wedding infrastructure has followed.
We work regularly across Málaga - from the castle-top Parador and Castillo de Gibralfaro to old-town hotels, private estates and rooftop ceremonies. If you have a specific venue in mind, ask us - we can tell you how we've worked with the light and layout there.
Yes. We're based in Málaga and photograph and film weddings here more than anywhere else. We know this city in a way that only comes from working in it every week - the light, the seasons, the streets, the venues.
May, June, September and October are our favourite months. The light is warm and directional, the temperature is manageable, and the city feels at its most alive. July and August are beautiful but the heat in the afternoon can be intense - if you're set on summer, plan your ceremony timing carefully.
Yes. Most couples planning a Málaga wedding book combined photography and film packages. The two work together naturally - one team, one visual language, one story. See our pricing page for full details.
