Balcón de Europa
Nerja's most celebrated viewpoint - a wide promenade suspended between two beaches with sweeping Mediterranean panoramas that create unforgettable ceremony backdrops.
Clifftop ceremonies, secluded coves, and the whitewashed charm of a town that hasn't been ironed flat. Nerja weddings have a character all of their own - and we love photographing them.
There are parts of the Costa del Sol that have been built up almost beyond recognition. Nerja hasn't. It's still a town where the main road ends at a cliff and the streets are narrow and the light bounces off whitewashed walls in the most beautiful way. That's part of why couples keep choosing it.
The Balcón de Europa gives you a ceremony backdrop that no purpose-built venue can match. The Parador sits above the sea with enough old-world elegance to feel special without being stuffy. And the fincas of the Axarquía, the rolling hills inland from Nerja, offer complete privacy in a landscape that's quintessentially Andalusian.
We photograph and film Nerja weddings as part of our regular coverage of the eastern Costa del Sol - the journey from Málaga takes just over an hour and there's no surcharge for the travel. Most couples book combined photography and film packages, which makes practical sense for a destination wedding.
From the iconic Balcón de Europa to private fincas in the Axarquía hills - here's where we work.

The classic Nerja wedding venue. Set on the cliffs with direct sea views, spacious terraces and architecture that photographs beautifully in every light.
The natural amphitheatre outside the famous caves offers a truly unique outdoor setting - ancient rock formations, fragrant gardens and extraordinary natural acoustics.
The hillside fincas of the Axarquía inland from Nerja offer complete privacy, olive groves, mountain views and an authentically Andalusian setting.
Burriana, Calahonda and Playa de Maro offer different moods - from the lively main beach to secluded cove settings at golden hour.
Nerja has a strong villa rental market for private weddings. We're experienced working in private properties where light and layout require on-the-day reading.
Nerja is approximately one hour east of Málaga along the coast. We cover the journey without any travel surcharge - it's one of our regular wedding locations.
Very much so. Nerja attracts couples from the UK, Ireland and Northern Europe who want something more intimate than the large resort towns. The Balcón de Europa, the cliff settings and the quieter beaches give it a distinctly different character to Marbella or Málaga city.
May, June, September and October offer the best combination of warmth, light quality and manageable crowds. July and August are beautiful but very busy - the town fills up considerably in peak summer.
Yes. We offer combined photography and film packages for all locations. Most couples planning a destination wedding in Nerja find it more practical to book both services together.
