There are parts of the Costa del Sol that have been built up almost beyond recognition. Nerja hasn't. It's still a town where the main road ends at a cliff and the streets are narrow and the light bounces off whitewashed walls in the most beautiful way. That's part of why couples keep choosing it.

We photograph and film Nerja weddings as part of our regular coverage of the eastern Costa del Sol - the journey from Málaga takes just over an hour and there's no surcharge for the travel. How far is Nerja from Málaga?
Nerja is approximately one hour east of Málaga along the coast. We cover the journey without any travel surcharge - it's one of our regular wedding locations.
Is Nerja good for destination weddings?
Very much so. Nerja attracts couples from the UK, Ireland and Northern Europe who want something more intimate than the large resort towns. The Balcón de Europa, the cliff settings and the quieter beaches give it a distinctly different character to Marbella or Málaga city.
What's the best time of year for a Nerja wedding?
May, June, September and October offer the best combination of warmth, light quality and manageable crowds. July and August are beautiful but very busy - the town fills up considerably in peak summer.
